French (France) Lead Editor - Remote

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB We are looking for French (France) Lead Editors to join a newly formed team for one of our exciting global tech clients.
~15 hours/ week ~3 months with possible extension They will take ownership in coordinating the existing team of linguists and vendors on this account. The Lead Editor will actively contribute to the success of the program, while performing the following services: Quality Assessment, Linguistic Evaluation and Quality Analysis. Hiring Requirements MAIN DUTIES
  • Supervising linguists:
    • able to coach for quality improvements,
    • able to proactively reach out to the team members during project cycle and raise clarifying questions around terminology, style, tone, voice.
  • Experience in working with different groups of stake holders: external vendors and client.
  • Ability to adopt a broad range of registers, tones and client voices.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to learn and apply the client required style and voice.
Required skills:
  • Degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation and/or equivalent experience in the technology industry.
  • Native in the target language.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with computer aided translation tools and systems.
  • Proven linguistic experience in variety of types of IT content.
  • Ability to perform these tasks remotely and independently.
